RAINBOW FAMILY GATHERINGS: Unofficial Community for Rainbow Family Gatherngs
i was wondering...
are there any gatherings in Conecuh National Forest, or William B. Bankhead National Forest? [both in AL.] i was searching wikipedia for list of forests in the US and according to google map. i live near those 2 [closer to William B. Bankhead National since its 2 hours by car, and 1 day by walk. i am so wanting to move to that forest lol.

You want to get in contact with the Beautiful Alabama Rainbow Family (B.A.R.F.)
Google "Rainbow Family BARF" and you will get a link to their My Space page among others.
(There is also a Bay Area Rainbow Family for people around San Francisco, and you'll get links for them too.)

Nationals are always staggered via bio region in order to sustain the environment. Smaller gatherings through out the year, or regionals, may be held in the same places, but I dont know of any in that area. This year's nationals will be on the east coast.
What you might want to look are potlucks, or drum circles, which you should be able to fin out about via the region family bill mentioned below.
