There is a lot of Rainbow energy in Wisconsin. I believe the Kikapoo family is from there. A huge amount of our organic food at Kid Village comes from Wisconsin. We recently gathered on the Michigan Panhandle. I loved it. I remember turtles in the forest and floating islands on the lakes. We had a lake at the Michigan gathering. it was really nice to swim every day and lay on a grassy beach.
The locals loved us too. They even called a town meeting to address the FS harassment of us. The locals collected hundreds of gallon jugs so we could fill them with artesian water for drinking.
I went on a supply run and a local grocer gave me pounds of Wisconsin cheese for free.
I'll go to Wisconsin any time. *s*

Wisconsin is a beautiful place, and most of the people here are nice and giving. Thats why I like it here. The only problem is when you live on the east or south part of WI people like that become less and less. I dont know if you ever heard of OC (oxycotton) but a lot of people up here are addicted to it so the town im in people arnt so nice all the time >:P But the panhandle and northern WI is a place of beauty. If you ever get the chance you should check out Glidden WI. AMAZING!

I heard of OC, but don't know anything about it. Sounds devestating like so many adictives out there. Sure would welcome another chance to explore WI and glidden. Hope you are doing well. Are you going to NM?

Hi...let's put one together...if not this summer, next summer...the mouth of the Brule River (where it runs into Lake Superior) is beautiful...all of Wisconsin is beautiful...I'm in MN, which is of course even beautifuler...need to get some membership, and it takes time to organize and promote any event...I founded a nonprofit last summer, and have just today resigned as an officer of the organization , so I'm off to do "the next thing" in my life...considering my options
