Texas girl born and raised! I love the farmers' markets. Unfortunately, it's difficult for small farms to do business. The farmers' market where I work every Saturday may be small but I'm proud to purchase their products. Buying local helps the community and it's healthy too!

Thanks for the invite. I too am a Texas girl. Hoping to find gatherings locally. I also buy from our local farmers. We have 3 days a week in Denton. My sister shares her bounty with all of the family as well as fresh eggs. Keep on promoting locavores.

Thanks for the add. Farmer markets are thriving in Iowa. Real fresh food taste much more vibrant. Knowing what you eat and how it is grown, I am glad I raised my family to have a feeling for such. Peace and Love

You might want to google or YouTube me under Eric Triffin. I have a good little video on there about making tabouleh salad at a Farmers' Market. This year we are giving out $2 coupons for use at our Farmers' Market here...better than pens, pads and plastic junk. We wanted to incentivize or is it a stimulus package to promote fruits and vegies.
