HUGE Part intellectual, part political junkie.Neither Redstate nor Bluestate.I love America and I do not wish anyone harm, though its important for us to safeguard our freedoms and defend ourself from those trying to hurt us!.If you can dig that some folks don't fit neatly into the perfect liberal box (I am a MODERATE who is NOT a democrat but WAS a green until 9/11 freaked me out!!!) then hopefully you will give me a chance.I'd rather be real even at the risk of not being popular.

I am a fiscal and a national security conservative.

DO NOT let your unspayed or unneutered cats outside!

I am laying low from here, because I am angry.

I read with great pain, that some folks will not fix their pets.

WHY not?Do you think its "unnatural"?

Do you think your animals have a right to a sex life?

I guess if you think headlice is no bother then, sure, don't spay or neuter your cats or dogs (tho I'm a cat person).

I volunteer and donate money that I'm ill equipped to forfeit,to save cats and kittens from a painful de

I Wanna Go To a Regional or National,BUT Under These Conditions (Fitting Into My Life n Career)

For ME,Its gotta be practical.

If a Gathering is on the West Coast,it will be close enough to my beloved California that I'd wanna continue on to Hollywood.I'm not gonna trek across America unless I can get stuff done and,I MISS California and my career and my social life!!!!

Obviously I would not be able to,or want to,bring all my Los Angeles wardrobe into the woods.I cannot get it dirty or lose anything. Most of what I wear on a normal day can double as clubwear

(repost) Survival In Case of Terrorist Attack or Natural Disaster

Note:This is a repost from a friend.

I understand many of you's politics will not agree with some of this.If so PLEASE do not flame me.I already know some do not like my politics. But we ALL have the right to protect ourselves in the event of danger. As with anything else, take what applies to you,and disregard the rest.

One more thing.*I* WenchRokk,do NOT agree its okay to not take your pets with you in case of disaster. If a shelter will not let my cat stay,I will

Something To Feel Good About

A coupla months ago,I moved into a new apartment,in a safer neighborhood.(Albeit,I had to haul my pots of garden plants into a room for them, and turns out it was never heated,so eventually my beloved tomato plants died...)

This new place had trash containers, but I never saw any recycling buckets. In fact, there were no recycling buckets anywhere on my street! This bothered me,and whenever I brought it up I was basically shouted down by family m

Trying To Live A Life Of Integrity (In the Digital Age)

This is something I think about a LOT.(Keep in mind I'm composing this on keyboard okay....).I know I can only speak for myself, but,*I* am a person who has a wide variety of friendships and acquaintances, people I care for of all political stripes, some different special interest groups, just a huge amalgamation of colourful humanity whom, for some reasons or other, like me too

You are really special to me. I am touched to be in your thoughts.

I am having a really good life. Everyone has their ups and downs, but I would rather do it here with all this love and compassion and undersanding.

Thank you for "all the good stuff."

Kisses!

Hi, Sister!

Wow! That would be difficult trying to maintain the same look for the duration and I imagine that you must stay like a statue while you are actually posing as well!

I know that you are not looking for sympathy but I still feel sympathy for you and your family nonetheless. I am sorry to hear about your father's passing. I am sure that losing a parent must be a very difficult thing to go through but in time I imagine that it become easier to cope with and that eventually you will just remember happy thoughts when you think of him and the time that you had with him.

I hope that you are having a nice day. Things have warmed up a bit here in Florida and I like that!

Peace!

Hi, Sister! You type wonderfully for not being able to see what you type! I can see what I type but I still make more typos than you do! By the way, I wish that the comment spaces were larger too! : )

I bet that you went through a lot of 9 volt batteries! I know that I did!

I am sorry to hear that your father was sick. I hope that he is okay now. That is great that you were able to take care of him when he was sick.

Are you waiting to hear back from the .Art Students League in NYC about a position you applied for? If so I hope that you get the job! Would you be posing and then the art students paint you or something like that?

Well, I can see why they would card you! : )

Peace!

Hi, Sister!

LOL! Hey, I use to sleep with my 9 volt transistor AM radio too! Did yours also have one of those small white earphones? : ) I guess that those radios were the iPods of their day and pretty advanced with those transistors!: ) I actually also had a plug in radio back then that had tubes and I had to wait for it to warm up! I had better stop; I think that I am making us both feel very old! : )

Your outside certainly does not match your times around the sun! Had you not mentioned your transistor AM radio I would have guessed that I was considerably older than you are and I certainly see how you can get away with stating that you are 30 and then necessity in doing so. That must be a difficult situation because rather than becoming more valuable to an employer with increasing experience you need to be concerned about becoming less desirable but I think that you have many trips around the sun to go before you need to worry. : )

I hope that dinner was good! I like to cook but hardly ever cook for myself but I enjoy cooking for other people and tomorrow night I will be cooking dinner for my mother and stepfather who are here in Florida for the winter.

Touring with the Grateful Dead must have been amazing! What did you do when you toured with them? Where you actually on stage? I do not remember any beautiful women like you dancing around or modeling when I saw them ion the early 80's but perhaps I just don't remember that or was not paying attention or something. : )

Peace!

Hi, Sister! Thank you for adding me as a friend and for writing! I had not noticed your other play lists and I am glad that you mentioned them. I need to head into town now to pick up some food for my hungry chickens before the feed store closes but when I return I will certainly continue listening to your great play lists! By the way, back in 1976 I had a small red, white and blue AM radio that ran on a 9 volt battery which I though was highly cool back then. Anyway, I remember listening to some of those songs in play list and I was wondering if we are close in age (I am 45) but then I noticed that you indicated that you are 69 on your MySpace profile but there is no way that you are anywhere near 69 years old unless your photos are about 40 years old but they obviously are not! Perhaps you picked 69 for some other reason. I was actually assigned number 69 on my college PE shorts and when they handed them out to me they asked if I wanted a different number and I said that it was fine and that I thought that it was a good number. : )

As far as gardening goes, may I suggest looking into an Aerogarden? Here is a link to their site but you could probably find them for less on Amazon.com.

http://www.aerogrow.com/

They are great and I have two of them in my kitchen from which I pick fresh organically grown herbs and salad greens every day. I hear that they are great for growing other things that you might not want to be growing in a pot on your front step, if you know what I mean! The Aerogarden's have their own light bulbs and so you could keep in in a closet if you like!

Have a nice evening!
Peace!

Hi, Sister! You sound like a very interesting person and I like your taste in music! I can also relate to the loss of your tomato plants. I recently lost approximately 100 tropical fruit trees many of which I started from seed over then years ago to the bad freeze that we recently had here in Florida. Some good came out of the cold though as my temperate peach trees, plum trees and blueberries bushes are flowering better than I have ever seen before because they liked that cold! I hope that things warm up soon and you can plant some more tomatoes! I grow some wild Everglades tomatoes (bad common name as they are really from Mexico) that are like small cherry tomatoes. They normally pop up all over my property on their own but luckily I was also growing some in my main greenhouse when the freeze hit or I most likely would have lost them all. I had no recycling bin here as well and after many months I finally got them to deliver one to me but then they would not pick it up when I filled it up! Peace! Mike

I enjoyed the "wise" photos. They brought me a chuckle. It was actually those photos that reminded me about your cold fingers. I already have some favorites in the snow pics, though I've only browsed once. I'm looking forward to more, and I'm happy you are making the best of the snow.
