Yearning for the Light (poem)

Swallowed by blackness

Engulfed by despair

Surrounded by turmoil

utter sadness

the shroud I wear

Coming Undone

Ripping & Tearing

it's way forward

(towards me

it's chosen one)

Beginning to run

Advancing on me

Now

with no remorse

& a smile upon it's face

Death in it's grip

Heartache in it's stride

Swift-it's pace

& nowhere to hide

Shaking with fear

Cold sweat upon my brow

Trying to get away

On me now

I go down

The hidious in my face

devouring my happiness

Tearing at my soul

Yearning for the light

as

Darkness grabs ahold
